Live-in Yr11

Oct 27 – Nov 2, 2022

A 3-day live-in was organised for the year 11 students with the aim of empowering them to be active citizens. The students engaged in a healthy discussion on what it means to be an active citizen and what we expect from our leaders. This led to them to creating 2 fictional political parties with their own political leader, emblem and agenda whereby they address Malta’s needs on key issues such as the environment, education, immigration, health and transport. In addition, the students took part in a tree planting exercise in tandem with the local Mayor in which we put in practice what was discussed in the groups. However, one cannot forget the fun element of the live-in. The students took part in an abseiling session one of the most picturesque parts of Malta as well as beach football and game of Monopoly did not go amiss.
