This year they were coordinated by a group of University students who for a day joined the Salesian family in its festive dress.
The games chosen by this group went down well with our students. The rough and tumble of tag rugby was definitely the boys’ favourite. However old classics like prisoners, handball and of course football were greeted with the usual enthusiasm.
The yard quivered with boys jostling boisterously in their team colours, striving to do their best for the sake of the team.
The day came to an end with a hearty and deserved applause for the university students who so kindly not only shared their knowledge of sport with us but also gently donated all the sport equipment used on the day.
