Prize Day - Sette Giugno

 

Patriotism dominated this year’s Prize Day at St. Patrick’s. The theme chosen for this year’s production was an eventful day in Maltese politics way back in 1919. The 7th of June of that year was marked by the bloodshed of four unarmed protestors in Valletta. The Maltese were demanding a constitution from their British colonizers. This event was dramatized and enacted by the students at the Salesian theatre in Sliema on April 30, 2009.

Jum il-Ktieb

Din is-sena ċċelebrajna din il-ġurnata permezz ta' attivitajiet marbuta mal-kotba u qari bil-Malti.  Il-ġurnata kienet imżewqa b'diversi xogħlijiet mtella' mit-tfal stess.  Bdejna b'żifna tradizzjonali mill-istudenti ż-żgħar. Kien hemm imbagħad min qara leġġendi Maltin, oħrajn urewna u spjegawlna x'kien il-logħob tradizzjonali Malti.  L-għalliema tal-Malti spjegat l-istorja tal-faxxikli u fl-aħħar intwerer stejjer miktuba u animati minn tal-Form 1.1 fejn wieħed seta' japprezza l-krejattivita' ta' dawn l-istudenti.

Sports Day

 

 

For some time now, we have organized the Sports day with the Feast of Mary Help of Christians.  This year we were lucky to have with us Fr John Horan, our Provincial, who concelebrated the mass.

Fun Games

 

Fun Games - this is exactly what they are FUN. So are the other activities that are orgnaized throughout the year, but the Fun Games still have something special.


The spirit is competitive but not harshly so.  The yard is infused more with a sense of joy rather than the thirst for winning. 


Each boy participates, no one is eleminated through preliminaries and heats.  It is inclusive in the best sense of the word.  Our Fun Games are a fine example of the spirit of our school. 


Everyone is given an opportunity, space to grow and enjoy life in the process.

L-appuntament annwali tal-Pantomima zammejnieh bi vjagg sat-Transilvanja, fejn l-eroj Van Charling (Christian Saliba) kellu l-missjoni li jiggieled lil Drakula (Mahmoud El Bakry). Naturalement il-botti minn taht u mhux daqshekk minn taht kienu kontinwi u tajbin.  Hadd mill-istaff, la tal-Care u lanqas ta' l-iskola ma helisha.
